Hi mom, it’s me again. I’m not really sure if you just don’t check this email anymore or if you didn’t read my last email. I’m not sure what’s going on. But oh well, even if you don’t reply, I really hope you’re still at least reading.
I am sorry if my last message came on a little too strong. I don’t really know how to be gentle about things sometimes. I think it’s something that obviously doesn’t come naturally in our family lineage. Anyway, it was really just my feeble attempt at an apology. Something we Lee’s don’t seem to be all that skilled at either. If it’s a true apology you’re wanting, then here it is. Ma, I am sorry I left you. It was just something that I had to do. I also think it best for the both of us that I don’t come back.
But mom, life for me is better than it’s ever been. I got a major promotion at my job! Can you believe it? Me earning promotions? Can you believe I’m settling and that I’m creating a life for myself?
